Uplight
University College London, London (2021)UCL commissioned us to enhance the façade of the Grade I-listed portico at their historic Bloomsbury campus. Completed in 1827, just a year after the university’s founding, the building’s listed status guided every aspect of our design approach. To honour its neoclassical architecture while introducing a contemporary touch, we installed vibrant, colour-changing uplighters—striking a careful balance between modern illumination and the preservation of its architectural heritage.
