Plug & Chain: giant plug and chain sculpture at Paddington Basin, London

Plug & Chain

Paddington Basin, London (2012)

When the Paddington Basin was drained, we saw a once-in-a-lifetime canvas. Enter the Plug & Chain—a gleaming, 5-metre chrome plug trailing a larger-than-life silver chain across the basin to a nearby building. Both humorous and heroic, this oversized installation tells a playful story about urban infrastructure while becoming a striking visual anchor for the redeveloped waterfront.
