Flying high at the heart of Carnaby for many years, our reimagined Union Flag installation is anything but traditional. Inspired by the Channel 4 ident and kinetic art pioneer Ned Kahn, 49,000 mirror discs shimmer with every breeze, animating the streetscape with a dynamic play of light. The fragmented flag comes together when viewed from the perfect angle—a playful nod to the layered complexity of identity and perception. Boldly emblazoned with “Carnaby”, it’s a landmark in every sense.
