Urban Art > Plug and Socket
In 2001 james glancy design installed the plug and socket on the Carnaby Estate essentially to provide a feature to the façade of a rather non descript 1960's building.
The irony of this urban art piece lies in the fact that the building is actually a sub station that supplies electricity to Windsor castle!!
It has been featured in many magazines, has changed colour several times and yet still continues to be a focal point in the ever trendy Soho streetscape.
